Using the Course Directory

The course directory provides detailed pages for 112 programmes across Singapore's six autonomous universities, drawn from the 284 programmes we track. Use the search bar to find specific courses by name, keywords, or university. The directory organises courses by university and faculty, making it easy to explore related programmes. Each course listing shows key admission data (IGP for A-levels, GPA for polytechnic), current enrolment numbers where available, and graduate employment statistics. Click on any course to access detailed information including historical trends, salary distributions, and programme descriptions.

Filter results by university to narrow your search, or browse all of them side by side. Courses marked with employment data have Graduate Employment Survey results available. Some programmes may show limited data due to small cohort sizes or recent establishment. The directory includes both undergraduate honours programmes and direct-entry courses. For medicine, law, and other professional degrees, note the special admission requirements beyond academic scores. We update the data as new admission cycles and employment surveys come out, so what you see reflects the latest figures.

What is IGP (Indicative Grade Profile)?

The Indicative Grade Profile shows the range of A-Level grades for the 10th and 90th percentile of students admitted to each course in the most recent admissions exercise. It is published annually by NUS, NTU, and SMU. A course with a 10th percentile IGP of AAA/A means that 90% of admitted students scored AAA/A or higher; the remaining 10% scored between the 10th and 90th percentile range. IGP serves as a guide for applicants to assess their chances but does not constitute a guaranteed cut-off point.

Universities that do not publish IGP include SUTD, SIT, and SUSS. These institutions use holistic admissions criteria that may include interviews, portfolios, aptitude tests, and work experience, in addition to academic results. Courses from these universities appear in the directory with graduate employment data where available.

Reading the Course Listings

Each course card in the directory displays key data points at a glance. The IGP score (where available) shows the 10th percentile admission grade under the 70-point rank point system. The polytechnic GPA shows the equivalent admission requirement for polytechnic graduates. Employment rate and median salary are from the most recent Graduate Employment Survey (GES), conducted approximately six months after graduation.

Click on any course to see its full profile, including historical trends, salary distributions, programme descriptions, and comparative analysis against similar courses. Courses are organised by university and faculty to help you explore related programmes within the same school.

Data Sources and Update Schedule

Admission data (IGP and polytechnic GPA requirements) is sourced from the official admissions pages of each university and updated after each annual admissions exercise. Graduate employment and salary data is sourced from the Ministry of Education's Graduate Employment Survey, published annually. Historical GES data in our database spans from 2013 to the present, providing over a decade of graduate outcome trends.

Some courses may show limited data due to small cohort sizes (fewer than 30 graduates surveyed), newly established programmes, or programme restructuring. Where data is suppressed or unavailable, this is noted on the individual course page. For more details on how we process and validate our data, see our methodology page.
